Consultant pathologist Dr David Gaskin testified that he only removed one bullet from Damian Trotman’s body, but the man died as a result of multiple gunshot injuries.

He was giving testimony last week in the trial of Hakeem Stuart, who is accused of murdering Trotman on March 21, 2019, at Sheraton Centre, Christ Church.

Gaskin performed an autopsy on Trotman’s body seven days after he died.

Under examination by Director of Public Prosecutions Donna Babb-Agard KC, Gaskin told the No. 3 Supreme Court that Trotman’s tissues and organs were relatively well preserved, but blood was found in the nasal and aural cavities, and there were noticeable injuries to the body. (RA)
