Grounds for appeal

Share post:

If you think you deserve a Humanitarian Award but have been omitted by your organisation, you can make direct appeal to the committee.

A statement from Minster of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr Shantal Munro Knight, advised frontline workers to speak with their employers to ensure they meet the qualifying criteria for the award.

Queries can be submitted to the Appeals Committee at national.awards@barbados.gov.bb

Those who qualify will also receive a one-off $500 award.

The next ceremony for the Humanitarian Awards, given to workers who went beyond the call of duty during the COVID-19 pandemic, will be on Sunday at Kensington Oval. (SAT)
