WITH THE PINE HILL National Primary Schools’ Athletic Championships (NAPSAC) set to resume today at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex, parents have been given the assurance their children will be well supervised.
Chairman of the NAPSAC Organising Committee, Richmark Cave, told the DAILY NATION the committee was conducting an investigation into the allegations of gross misconduct, including indecent behaviour by a number of minors on Monday.
He has promised effective supervision and security for the children.
“. . . Send the child to the games,” he said to parents with reservations. “There is adequate security we have there to ensure the safety of the child and encourage the teachers to do their part and have the children supervised.”
NAPSAC continues today and tomorrow with the Andrea Blackett and Anton Norris Zones, and the Jim Wedderburn Zone next Monday.
On Monday, a Facebook post by a teacher at a private primary school sent shock waves across Barbados when she listed some of the sexual acts she had witnessed earlier that day near the chemical toilets at the St Michael facility. (SAT)
