Local boy Josh Burke was left disappointed, but not disgraced, as he finished runner-up at home in the 2023 Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) Barbados Surf Pro QS 5 000 and Live Like Zander Junior Pro event held at the Soup Bowl in Bathsheba, St Joseph earlier today.

Burke was second to Crosby Colapinto of the USA in a keenly contested showdown for the men’s final.

Earlier, Chelsea Tuach, the defending women’s champion, and Chelsea Roett, were both eliminated at the round of 16. (ML)
