Five students who were involved in Tuesday’s stabbing incident at the Grantley Adams Memorial School are set to be expelled.
While officials remained tightlipped on the outcome of the second day of meetings at the school, an anonymous source told the Saturday Sun that the decision has been taken to expel five students who were the aggressors or instigators in the incident.
This comes after police charged a 16-year-old and two 14-year-olds, in relation to injuring three 15-year-old boys and a 12-year-old girl, struck by a stone.
On Thursday, during a three-hour meeting at the Blackman’s, St Joseph institution, which was chaired by Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Education Harry Husbands, and Deputy Chief Education Officer Joy Adamson, 70 teaching and non-teaching staff aired their grievances. (RA)
