Bronze for Nikkolai

Barbados was awarded one more medal in the final session of the 50th CARIFTA Games in The Bahamas.

Nikkolai Kennedy, who originally finished fourth in the Under-20 boys’ 110m hurdles, was upgraded to bronze after Jamaican Shaquane Gordon was deemed to have false started.

Kennedy came home in 14.02 seconds.

Jamaican Demario Prince was awarded gold with 13. 37 seconds and Otto Laing of The Bahamas silver with 13.49 seconds.

Barbados won 11 medals – two gold, six silver and three bronze.  (SAT)
