The Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT) is displeased that the Ministry of Education has not closed St Paul’s Primary School after sighting of rodents and droppings on Tuesday.

Since the report, a cleaning crew visited the school and removed the droppings but the BUT is still not satisfied.

Yesterday, representatives from the Ministry of Education and BUT first vice-president Julian Pierre visited the institution.

Although the cleaning crew discovered more droppings in the school hall, the Ministry of Education did not close the Brittons Hill, St Michael institution, Pierre said.  (JH)
