Prime Minister, Mia Amor Mottley is taking a break.

The Prime Minister revealed moments ago during a nationally televised press conference at her official residence, Ilaro Court,  that she would be leaving the island tomorrow, and would return to duties on September 3.

She added that in her absence, Deputy Prime Minister, Santia Bradshaw would be the country’s Acting Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister said the break away from national duties was much needed after a hectic few months.
