Glenburnie, St John, has been earmarked for restoration under the Scotland District Road Rehabilitation Project.

A geotechnical survey will have to be carried out before the start of the works, to determine ground conditions and soil composition in the district.

As a result, the access road that leads to the entrance of the Glenburnie community will be closed on Thursday, September 28th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to facilitate the testing. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated, if required.

The work is being carried out by The China National Complete Plant Import Export Corporation (COMPLANT), on behalf of the Ministry of Transport, Works & Water Resources (MTWW).

The COMPLANT team apologises for any inconvenience caused and looks forward to the cooperation of the residents of Glenburnie and the general public.   (PR/SAT)
