The start of the third One Day International between West Indies and England at the Kensington Oval has been delayed due to rain.

At 1:36 p.m. the covers came off the ground and play was scheduled to begin at 2:10 p.m.

However, the showers returned and the covers went back on at 1:43 p.m.

The officials are assessing the conditions, but no official start time has been announced.

There was still a light drizzle at 2:38pm, with the covers still on and the toss not yet spun.

The England supporters have come out in their numbers, filling the party stand to the brim in anticipation of some cricket action which is expected to be played with some overs reduced. (JC/RW)
