The road was blocked at Hastings, Christ Church, after a container truck collided with the side of the Savannah Beach Hotel, tearing down the rails on the upper floor.
As a result, one of the busiest roads in Barbados was impassable as a crew from the Barbados Water Authority was working on a burst main in the area. (Nation News)
