RDC closed for move

THE RURAL DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION (RDC) will be closed to the public tomorrow and Thursday to facilitate relocation of its offices.

It will move one floor down to the first floor, into the space now occupied by the Urban Development Commission, in the NSR Building on Bridge Street, Bridgetown.

People who wish to contact the RDC during that period should call 836-9415. It will reopen on Friday. The telephone number 227-4500 and fax 422-7669 remain unchanged.

OLGA MILLAR Nursery School, at Farm Gardens, Six Roads, St Philip, will launch the Schools Positive Behaviour Management Programme – an initiative of the Ministry of Education – at the school on Friday from 9 a.m.

Anglican Bishop Michael Maxwell and an official from the Ministry of Education will speak to pupils.

IT WAS INCORRECTLY reported in yesterday’s DAILY NATION on Page 22 that athlete Jonathan Jones was the winner of the award for the Junior Outstanding Sportsperson – Male, at last Saturday’s National Sports Council’s 2018 awards ceremony.

The actual winner of the award was karter Zane Maloney.
