Police have identified the deceased as 25-year-old Terrence Brathwaite of Hill Side, Gall Hill, Christ Church.
His body was discovered around 11 a.m. and police were notified.
On responding to the report, officers discovered the body of Brathwaite lying face down with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his left side.
