UPDATE: Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the man.
He is about 5’ 5” tall, slimly built and of dark complexion. He has grey hair and a receding hair line. The deceased was wearing a grey T-shirt, red and blue short pants, and a pair of black slippers.
Anyone who can provide any information to assist with the identification of this man is being asked to contact the Oistins Police Station at telephone 418-2612.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the apparent drowning of an elderly man.
Police public relations officer Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler said the incident occurred after 8 a.m. today at Enterprise Beach, Christ Church.
The man, who is believed to be in his late seventies, was seen floating face down in the water.
He was pulled from the water in an unresponsive state and subsequently died at the scene. (PR)
