BWA conducting emergency repairs in St. George

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to advise residents and businesses in parts of St. George that today, Thursday, June 20th it is currently conducting emergency repairs on a burst main in the vicinity of Buckley Factory. 

To facilitate this repair, Buckley Road in St. George has been temporarily closed and is impassable from the Turnpike to Constant Roundabout. Motorists are advised to divert to avoid this area.  

As a result of the rupture, customers in Buckley Crescent, Buckley Terrace, Buckley Factory, Plantation and the surrounding areas may be affected by a water outage or low pressure.  

Water tankers have been deployed to assist.   

The Barbados Water Authority apologises for the inconvenience this emergency repair at Buckley Road, St. George today Thursday, June 20th may cause.  (BWA)
