Police investigate homicide in St Joseph

Authorities have responded to what is now the 27th homicide of 2024, following a report received at about 2:40 p.m today.

Police personnel from the northern division District F station arrived at a residence at Little Diamond, St Elizabeth, St Joseph to find one man deceased and another injured.

According to the initial report, the incident involved an altercation where a cutlass was used. The injured man was promptly transported by ambulance to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

Investigations are ongoing. More details as they come to hand.
