BMS continues to monitor disorganized area of disturbance

The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) is continuing to closely monitor a disorganized area of disturbance located near 11N, 46W, approximately 893 miles (1438 km) east-southeast of Barbados.

There are currently no watches or warnings in effect for Barbados related to this system.

On its current trajectory, the system is expected to pass to the north of Barbados around Wednesday this week. As a result, no direct impacts are anticipated at this time.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed by monitoring updates from the BMS, the Department of Emergency Management (DEM), and the Government Information Service (GIS) via their websites, social media pages, and local media outlets.

The next update will be provided at 11:00 a.m on Monday.
