Two charged in relation to Brittons Hill robbery

Police have arrested and jointly charged two males in connection with the robbery of David Benn and six of his customers on December 16, 2017.

The incident occurred at Benn’s Brittons Cross Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael home where he also sells food.

Twenty-one-year-old Adrian Romario Mottley of #13 Watermill Place, Bayville, St Michael, and 16-year-old Ajani Anthony Brathwaite of Hillbury Road, Brittons Hill are expected to appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ court today.

They are accused of one count of assault with intent to rob, one count of theft and two counts of robbery. They also face an additional six counts of robbery. (PR/NB)
