Niles bags 100m bronze in Lima

Barbadian sprinter Kishawna Niles won bronze in the women’s 100 metres at the World Athletics Under-20 Championships in Lima, Peru, earlier Wednesday.

Powering home after a slow start, Niles clocked 11.37 seconds (wind 0.0) to place third and seal an all-Caribbean podium.

Jamaican Alana Reid won gold in 11.17 seconds and Adaejah Hodge of the British Virgin Islands, fresh off her stint at Paris 2024, was second in 11.27 seconds. (SAT)
