Within the space of seven months, two motorcycle accidents have rocked the Daniel family.
Yesterday, the second one claimed the life of 22-year-old Renaldo Elon Daniel of Rollins Road, Christ Church.
Police reported the accident occurred at 12:57 a.m. along Maxwell Main Road, Christ Church. They said Daniel was travelling towards Top Rock when he lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown off. He was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he died while being treated.
A tearful Michelle Daniel spoke about her only son.
“He loved motorcycles. He would do drag racing in St Lucia and St Vincent with my brother, who wanted him to take over. He was a people person but hardly ever went out, just used to stay home when he wasn’t working,” she said.
