Following the recent stabbing incident at Alexandra  School, Felicia Dujon, the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) spokesperson for education, is concerned about how the situation was handled.

Dujon said the lack of communication with parents was alarming, as many, she claimed, were left uninformed until their children returned home or the news broke through the media.

“As a parent myself, I can personally relate to the anxiety and fear this situation creates,” Dujon said.

“When I first received the news, I was immediately startled, especially knowing that we’ve had fatal stabbings in the past.”
