Vendor robbed

Current reports reaching NATIONNEWS indicate that a group of five masked men pounced on a way side food vendor operating at Brittons Hill, St Michael and robbed him and his clients of money and cellphones tonight around 10:30.

Reports are that a gun belonging to one of the clients was taken, while another man was struck with the butt of a gun. 

All five men were said to have escaped on foot and made their way through Valery − a village nearby.

Police and ambulance personnel are said to be on the scene. (JS)
