Missing: Shayria Maynard

Police are seeking the assistance of the public in locating a missing girl. She is 12-year-old Shayria Maricia Maynard, a pupil of the Grantley Adams Memorial School who resides at Frenches, St George. 

She was last seen by her grandfather around 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday December 12 when he transported her to the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal to catch a bus to school.

At the time she was wearing her school uniform.

Maynard is 5’ 2” tall, slimly built and of dark complexion with an oval face. She has thick eyebrows and full dark brown eyes.

She has thick lips, a small nose, a long neck and drooping shoulders. She is full-breasted, speaks with a light voice and has a pleasant demeanour.

Anyone with information relative to the whereabouts of Shayria Maricia Maynard is being asked to contact the District “B”, Police Station at 437-4311  or 430-7625, police emergency number 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800 –TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.  (PR/NB)
