The election tempo is heating up. The Electoral and Boundaries Commission (EBC) is putting its machinery in place for the poll constitutionally due early next year, and reports indicate all polling stations have been told to be prepared for the elections.
The polling boxes have also been sent for cleaning and general preparation for the election.
In recent days, the commission has published notices related to the register of electors where it has indicated the names to be deleted from that list in order to have a clean list for the general election.
And well-placed sources have reported former Ambassador to CARICOM Robert Morris, has left that position and is tipped to be the campaign manager for the Democratic Labour Party (DLP), a position he held during the last campaign when the party was returned to office. (ES/SDB)
