Members of the Major Crime Unit have arrested and charged Tedroy Henderson Glenfield Gittens, 46, of Military road, Bush Hall, St Michael, for a number of drug related offences, which were allegedly committed yesterday, at Bush Hall, St Michael.
Gittens was charged for unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to supply, trafficking of cannabis, unlawful possession of cocaine, unlawful possession of cocaine with intent to supply, trafficking of cocaine, unlawful possession of ecstasy and possession of apparatus.
Yesterday, members of the Major Crime Unit assisted by other lawmen, executed a search warrant at the residence occupied by Gittens. During the search, the drugs and apparatus were discovered. Gittens was arrested and subsequently charged for the offences.
Gittens is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The cocaine weighed 111.38 grams with an estimated street value of $ 5 569. The cannabis weighed 113.32 grams with an estimated street value of $ 566, and the ecstasy was a total of 87 pills, with an estimated street value of $ 1 740. (PR)
