Ellerslie student chopped during fight

A student at Ellerslie Secondary School is now receiving medical attention after a chopping incident.

Reports reaching NATION News indicate a fight between two boys broke out in the canteen during the lunch break at the Black Rock, St Michael school.

The boy sustained a serious hand injury, with his elbow and fingers taking the brunt of the attack.

Principal Lieutenant Colonel Errol Brathwaite told the NATION team he was dealing with the issue and unable to comment. (BN)
