Police are probing a shooting incident which occurred around 10:35 a.m. today at Bowmanston, St John.
Forty-one-year-old resident of the area Adrian O’Brien Williams received a gunshot injury to the left side of his neck.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Williams was at a shop with other people when a man entered and fired two shots at him before fleeing the scene.
Williams was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle.
