Three injured in Porters accident

Police are investigating an accident which occurred sometime around 12:32 p.m. today along Porters Main Road, St James.

It involved a minibus, a car and a van and resulted in three people complaining of minor injuries.

The minibus was driven by 33-year-old Richan Bourne of Lodge Road, Christ Church, while the van was driven by Ezra Simpson, 27, of Gall Hill, St John. The car was driven by 32-year-old Jessica Walker of Husbands Gardens, St James.

Walker complained of pain to her right hand, neck, head, chest and right foot, and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

Bourne reported pain to his right foot whilst his conductor, 30-year-old Wayne Cozier, of Eagle Hall, St Michael, complained of pain to his left hand. They both opted to seek private medical attention. (PR)
