Hayley Matthews says West Indies Women are quite confident after whitewashing the touring Sri Lankans.
The team recently won six matches, winning three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad before picking up three more wins in the
T20 series at the Stanford Cricket Ground in Antigua.
Speaking to NATION SPORT during the launch of the Guardian Group Herman Griffith Primary Schools Competition recently, Matthews said it felt good to achieve the clean sweep.
“I think it was really good that we could start off with three wins in the Women’s ICC Championship. We played the first three games in the whole championship to obviously win those three and we are at the top of the table now with six points. (RG)
