Scores of people are currently at the Wildey Gymnasium taking in the sweet vibes of West Indian music as part of the I Am Live Aid Benefit Concert.

There have already been performances by Alison Hinds, Biggie Irie, Jamaica’s Queen Ifrica and Freddie McGregor, Trinidadian David Rudder and Sael of Martinique.

Also in the line-up are Barbadians Red Plastic Bag, Shanta Prince and Sanctuary along with Vincentian Skinny Fabulous and St Lucian Freezy.

The concert is being held to raise funds for the islands that were affected by recent hurricanes. (TG)
