Janeil Odle continues to blaze a trail in the academic world.

The 21-year-old blind scholar is among scores of students graduating with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies (UWI) today. She will receive a degree in law after topping her class.

The more than 1 000 former students who will receive their degrees are the first set of graduates since the Government introduced tuition fees for Barbadians three years ago.

Three years ago, Janeil was the valedictorian at the graduation ceremony of the Barbados Community College. (BARBADOS NATION)
