This coming winter tourist season will be one of the hottest ever.
Still basking in the sunny numbers that led to record visitor arrivals in 2015 and last year, the Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated (BTMI) is the bearer of great news again, with the 2018 season expected to keep the hot streak going.
BTMI’s chief executive officer William ‘Billy’ Griffith revealed in an interview that Barbados recorded a 7.4 per cent increase in arrivals for the year when compared to 2016’s numbers, and said that pattern is expected to continue.
The result is dozens more aircrafts set to hit the tarmac at Grantley Adams International Airport in two month’s time. (BA)
