The power of grace

Date:

Share post:

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in the present age – Titus 2:11 – 12

We know that God’s grace will keep us in our trials, but what about when life is going great? Don’t we need grace for that as well? In adversity, grace keeps us from going under; in times of prosperity, grace keeps us from going over! In other words, we need to rely on God’s grace to keep us humble, to handle our blessings and to ascribe the glory to Him.

Not everyone can handle when God begins to bless them; pride and arrogance are always lurking around the corner, waiting to pounce. Grace helps us to live soberly.
