DLP’s Felicia Dujon completes nomination process

The 2025 St James North by-election got off to the official start this morning, when Democratic Labour Party (DLP) candidate Felicia Dujon completed the Nomination Day process at the Gordon Greenidge Primary School, in Rock Dundo, St James.

Dujon, competing in her first election of any kind in Barbados, was accompanied by Leader of the Opposition, Ralph Thorne; her husband Michael Clarke, Senators Andre Worrell and Ryan Walters and a number of party faithful.

Just after 10 a.m., a smiling Dujon entered the school to the sound of tuk band music and was greeted by Returning Officer, Leonard Walters, who explained to her how things would be done. (BA)

Dujon said the people have a chance to right the wrongs. She said this election was not about party, who had the most fetes or meetings, but about Barbados.

As they came, the Democratic Labour Party entourage with candidate Felicia Dujon, left Gordon Greenidge Primary School to the beat of the tuk band.
