LEADING CRICKET CLUBS in the island no longer have to worry about leaky covers.

The Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) has come to their assistance and has agreed to provide covers to all Elite and Division 1 clubs.

BCA officials, headed by new president Conde Riley, meet with representatives of 17 clubs on Wednesday to formalise an agreement between the association and the clubs on the provision of covers.

In a release yesterday, the BCA said the initiative formed part of the first phase of the association’s outreach, which is intended to upgrade the clubs’ infrastructure and to assist them in their development.  (HG/PR)
