RONALD “SUKI” KING is seeking the presidency of the Barbados Draughts Association.
The vacancy follows the sudden resignation of Winslow Greaves at a special general meeting on August 23.
An emergency general meeting is set for Sunday to elect an interim president and King is throwing his hat in the ring.
King, who was a founding member of the association which was established in 1981, has remained one of Barbados’ best players and held the World Go-As-You-Please title from 1991 to 2014 and the Three-Move Restriction title from 1994 to 2001. (RG)
