Never mind the profits aren’t coming – the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has been a resounding success over the first years of its existence.
The CPL’s head honcho is immensely proud of what the tournament has achieved in its short history.
CPL chief executive officer Damien O’Donohoe says five years into the event, it is the dream he envisaged at the start.
He gets his satisfaction from seeing the passion from the fans, packed grounds around the region, exciting cricket and electrifying atmospheres.
No one can deny that the CPL is a spectacle. (HG)
