BARBADIANS GOT GLIMPSES of the partial solar eclipse yesterday despite some cloud cover and showers.

Several hundred people gathered at the Harry Bayley Observatory in Clapham, St Michael, and waited with bated breath after cloud cover blocked the view of the sun.

Twenty-two children from the Pinelands Seventh-Day Adventist Church Pathfinders and Adventurers group were at the observatory. (LK)
