ABC off and winning

TITLE FAVOURITES A Badd Connection (ABC) registered three wins and suffered one loss across various categories when the 32nd Barbados Hockey Festival continued yesterday after Sunday’s opening ceremony.

ABC, behind goals from Trishann Greaves and Tammy Small, defeated the University of the West Indies (UWI) 2-0 in their Women’s A Division match at the Wildey AstroTurf.

In another Women’s A game, Stevenson University A team from Baltimore trounced local side Raptors 3-0. Kendra Meyers logged a brace and Jean Hart also got on the score sheet in the easy win.

Stevenson’s B team, however, had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Du Badd in the Women’s B Division. (EZS)
