ALL PREMIER LEAGUE clubs are required to have C-licence coaches by the 2019 football season.

In making the announcement, chairman of the Barbados Football Association’s (BFA) technical committee, Adrian Donovan, said clubs were informed of the requirement in 2016 to give them sufficient time to acquire coaches with the necessary qualifications.

“The response has been good and the club officials and coaches understand that if we intend to take our football to another level and to take it seriously, then we have to take these steps,” Donovan told NATIONSPORT.

“We had D-Licence courses arranged and now two C-licence as it stands now.” (RG)
