KEITHLAND KING’S DREAM of becoming a professional fighter is about to happen, thanks to Corbin’s Catering and Mahogany Ridge.
The elite amateur boxer will make his debut as a professional next week Saturday, when he comes up against Ray Collins, the winner of 14 fights, at the Mark C. Marin Centre, Antilles School, US Virgin Islands.
“I think it is a miracle that I have this opportunity,” said King.
“The night before I got the call I was speaking to God and I said, ‘God, it’s been 16 years. If you didn’t bring me this far to fail, please show me a sign’,” he said smiling broadly at Corbin’s Catering Strathclyde head office. (RA)
