AS THOUSANDS FETED from Queen’s Park to Spring Garden Highway in the Barbados Light & Power Foreday Morning Jam during the wee hours of yesterday morning, a comparable number of people were also celebrating at several private j’ouverts.
This year, in addition to Caesar’s Army A.M. Bush BIM and Dirty Dozen, Native was added to the mix.
And representatives of each of the j’ouverts have reported that their events were successful.
An estimated 800 people were reported to be at Dirty Dozen, which came off at Chickmont Foods Limited, Balls Plantation in Christ Church, while Native, which had about 1 000, took place about a mile away along Highway 6. Meantime, Caesar’s Army returned to Vaucluse Raceway in St Thomas. (TG)
