THE LAST TIME Angela Stowe saw her son Terry he was in good health and good spirits.

When a body was seen floating face down in the water at Worthing Beach, Christ Church, and washed ashore early Friday morning, Stowe never thought it could be her son. A non-swimmer, Terry was not one to frequent the beach, she said.

Stowe, who spoke to the Sunday Sun from her Ulster Road, Grazettes, St Michael, home yesterday, said her 32-year-old son was an “alright” person and his death came as a major shock to the family.

Terry was a chef but lost his job about three months ago. She said he was consistently getting job applications printed and job hunting and she thought that was what he was out doing on Thursday. (LK)
