Discipline ‘at core’ of cadets

YOUNG PEOPLE WHO enroll in the Barbados Cadet Corps are less likely to find themselves in trouble.

This assurance has come from cadet executive Major Alva Holder, who said the organisation not only instilled the necessary values, but also produced good citizens.

Major Holder said while an increasing number of young people were finding themselves in trouble with the law, he believed enrolment in the Cadet Corps would help to curb that problem.

Children between the ages of 11 and 19 can enlist in the programme. (RB)
