Super Millicent marks another milestone

BARBADOS NOW HAS a third supercentenarian.

She is Millicent Yearwood who joined the exclusive club when she turned 110 yesterday.

A supercentenarian is a person significantly older than 100 years of age, typically one who has reached the age of 110.

The landmark was marked with a presentation to Yearwood at her Fitts Village, St James home by the president of the National Committee on Ageing (NCA), Sylvester Niles. (LK)
