ROBERT GILL is in the race for the champion driver’s title of Bushy Park Motorsport Inc. (BPMSI).
And he scored a hat-trick of class wins by margins of 23, 16 and 20 seconds after a dominant performance at the wheel of the Venture Car Rentals/Rezults Auto/Percy King Auto Parts Toyota recently.
Not only has he moved into a challenging third place in the class, 20 points behind Derek Edwards, but he is also now fourth in the title chase.
“It was a good day for me, as it was also to be in winners’ row. I enjoyed the challenging conditions and the car worked well. I also wanted to make my sponsors proud, but it is work in progress”, he told NATIONSPORT after the event. (TT)
