A 29-YEAR-OLD Barbadian male is assisting police with their investigations into an offshore seizure of marijuana.
His name has not yet been released.
However, police say members of the Drug Squad, Police Marine Unit and the Barbados Coast Guard intercepted a locally-registered fishing vessel off the shores of Barbados on Tuesday.
The marijuana which was reportedly found on board, weighed 279 pounds. (PR/SAT)
