THE USUAL Sunday evening quiet of Bridgetown was disrupted when several men got into a brawl at Wharf Road.

Several videos of the incident later circulated on social media, including one where a man was seen jumping on top of a parked car, pursuing another man who was trying to flee.

Violence has at times broken out in that area of town, sometimes stemming from party goers who attend cruises on board one of the popular pleasure boats.

According to police public relations officer Inspector Roland Cobbler, the incident took place around 5:15 p.m. but he said by the time officers arrived, the men had left and no arrests were made. (TG)
