Man stung to death by bees

A MAN WAS apparently stung to death by a swarm of bees earlier today while picking mangoes at Marchfield, St Philip.

Police confirmed that the deceased was pronounced dead at the scene after an initial report was made to them around 1:52 p.m.

The man is believed to be in his mid to late 20s and witnesses said he got too close to the hive. (AC)
