Bajan Tridents to face off against French Guiana

THE BARBADOS SENIOR football men’s team will have a fight on their hands, come Saturday, when they face off against French Guiana in an international friendly at the Edmard LAMA Stadium in Cayenne, French Guiana.

Ahead of their departure tomorrow, technical director of the Barbados Football Association Ahmed Mohamed, said the fight “will definitely be a tough one, but a necessary one” in determining the level of competency of the national team. 

The squad is as follows: Dario Weir, Arantees Lawrence, Shane Codrington, Torina Went, Jason Boxhill, Ackeel Applewhaite, Mario Williams, Jomo Harris, Hadan Holligan, Mario Harte, Zeco Edmee, Sheran Hoyte, Jamal Chandler, Ranaldo Bailey, Akeem Hill and Raheim Sargeant.

Ahmed Mohamed, Nicola Yard, Richard Bynoe and Colin Harewood make up the management team. (RA)
